Raycast is very good.

It’s like macOS Spotlight on steroids, with no harmful side effects.

I run my computer off of Raycast: window management, clipboard history, app switcher, calculator, and so on.

There’s a very long list of things to cover, but I recommend starting with:

Raycast lets you add aliases to commands or apps. This is really helpful if you are trying to break muscle memory when trying new apps (like switching from VSCode → Cursor, or Safari → Dia)

Spend some time in the Raycast extension store, too: https://www.raycast.com/store

They have thousands of integrations for every possible app. Many are useless, but a handful are awesome time savers.

One of my favorites is Unicode Symbols Search that makes it easy to insert characters like × or ½ no matter where you’re typing.
