One of the most useful parts of CleanShot is the annotation tools:

Easily add arrows, text, auto-incrementing numbers, redactions, scribbles, lines, and more.

CleanShot can automatically copy your screenshots to your clipboard so that you don’t have to drag n drop or dig through finder menus to get screenshots into apps like Slack or Notion. Combined with Raycast’s clipboard history, it’s super easy to grab recent screenshots even if you’ve copied newer things to your clipboard.

A couple pro tips:

• Use command + shift + 4 to enter manual screenshot capture mode — you can drag your selection to capture a specific area of the screen
  • While you’re in this mode, press Space to capture an entire app window. If you want the app window without your desktop wallpaper, hold Option.
  • While in manual screenshot capture mode, you can hold Shift to lock one axis of resizing
  • While in manual screenshot capture mode, you can hold Space to reposition your selection
• Use OCR (and map to command + shift + 1) to quickly copy text by screenshotting it (useful when copying text from another screenshot.
